Van Lagen seizes lead from pole-sitter Rast

From fourth on the grid, local Zandvoort favourite Jaap van Lagen and Kévin Estre overtook the Pixum Team Schubert BMW Z4 GT3 driven by Dominik Baumann on lap 1 and then passed Nicki Thiim one lap later with his Audi R8. Race leader René Rast was the next target on his home track. After a great battle between the two, van Lagen pulled off a neat passing manoeuvre on the outside of the famous Tarzan corner.
