“The last laps of the race in the dark were very atmospheric and I really enjoyed it,” said Kuba after the race. “With Christian, we had the right man in the cockpit at the right time and were able to take the win in a confident manner. With him as a teammate you don’t have to worry about anything. The Walkenhorst-BMW finished 1:26.623 ahead of the runner-up. “I enjoy every lap at the Nürburgring in the dark. It’s always something special,” said Krognes. “We had the best package today and were able to push hard.
“The race was extremely tough, especially in the early stages, because the temperatures were very high,” admitted Ragginger. “Nevertheless, we had a cool race even though we couldn’t really get close to the BMW at the front. For me it was the first race in the Green Hell after the 24 hour race and I had a lot of fun, especially because our team mates finished third to complete the very good result for Falken Motorsport.
